We met Raymond at our first ever Kambo ceremony. He was hosting the ceremony, and holding space, but was not applying the medicine. He spoke on the phone with both Joe and I and addressed all of our concerns with such empathy and understanding, that he helped us both to dissolve quite a few years of built up apprehension! We were both adamant yet even more hesitant, and missed quite a few opportunities to experience this medicine. If it weren't for Raymond speaking with us over the phone, on multiple occasions prior, we might still be fearful. He explained everything very well, from the process of the application to the biological effects. During this first ceremony, where he was present to assist the practitioner, we felt fully supported and safe. He seemed to be fully in tune with every single person in the room. He was attentive to everyone's needs and didn't miss a beat. When someone needed support, he was right there. He was incredibly calm, yet fast and efficient during the ceremony. We were both drawn to learn more, or work more with him after this ceremony.

Receiving Kambo medicine from Raymond is a powerful experience, at least it was for me, and also my husband Joe. This work isn't for the faint of heart, so when I found a practitioner-before Raymond that I felt safe with, I wasn't adamant to try someone new. However, my husband had worked with Raymond before me, and was raving about the experience he had with him for weeks. His enthusiasm was so authentic that I knew I had to give it a try. My husband, Joe, couldn't fully articulate why he loved the experience with Raymond. It was just one of those many things in life that are "beyond words."

It was only Joe and I the first time I received Kambo from Raymond. It was a tight container and it was perfect! I actually had a unique reaction to the rapé (shamanic snuff) before even receiving the kambo. Initially, I was feeling guilty for holding up the process, though Raymond was just as I remembered from the first time we'd met. He was completely calm, present and did not rush me at all. He told me to take my time and just be with the experience. I was completely light headed and feeling ungrounded immediately after the rapé. It took quite some time to feel settled, and Raymond just held the container so well! Prior to this, we spent time really being intentional with the ceremony. Raymond's demeanor is just so tranquil and peaceful!

Kambo medicine can be a very intense experience and to have someone like Raymond holding space is truly a gift. Feeling safe and at ease is so important! He also holds the medicine with great reverence, and honors the practice as sacred, which I feel is of the utmost importance. I highly recommend experiencing this medicine with Raymond!

As I journey along my life's path, I had plateaued in vocation and relationships. Then about a year ago I ran into some pretty hard blocks that I was not sure how to overcome. Part of the obstacle was not knowing what the blocks were, what was my mental/ emotional blindspot? After doing some research I thought Kambo might bring these blocks to the surface. Well, be mindful of what you wish for, because you will receive.

I remember Raymond's and I's first conversation. Through the phone, I could feel his desire to help those on their spiritual journey. His compassion and understanding helped me feel safe that I could approach these mental and emotional challenges in a closed container of presence and support.

I sat with him three days in a row to receive the full inoculation. Not going to lie, it's not the most comfortable feeling in the world, but absolutely worth it. After leaving on day one I felt a little different, but I was kind of upset, like "Is that it, I feel like something bigger should happen." That evening as I was walking my dog along the beach after about 15 minutes I stopped and realized that I had not thought a thought for about 15 minutes. It was glorious!! My monkey mind, my incessant, fearful monkey mind had stopped bothering me for 15 glorious minutes. I felt peace. I slept amazing that night. The next two days were relatively the same. However, a few days later I woke up feeling a little discouraged that I have not had a bigger breakthrough. Thinking maybe the Kambo did some good somewhere in my subconscious, I moved on from the experience and on with my mediocre life.

Two months later... Whew, it's a long, painful, dynamic, freeing story that has arisen from deep in my soul. And while the details are irrelevant, because everyone story is different, many blocks had been removed and the core of my life essence had been freed to flow fourth. While what happened, was painful and I had to face some of my deepest fears, it all happened within a relatively short period of time, as opposed to a few of years of different karmic circumstances. Now it is my responsibility to properly transmute these emotions into a higher vibratory state. And the answer how to do that, comes with the release of these blocks.

We has humans often think we need things to happen faster, happen now! And while we need to operate on God's time, he does offer ways to expedite our spiritual awakening. If you're on the path, in my opinion, Kambo has been a large key to my puzzle.

I have done other plant work and sat in other ceremonies, the facilitator is a key aspect to a safe journey. Raymond is very present in his offering, as he creates a space of love so the divine can shine.
